Here are the latest news and updates on the activities of HENSOLDT Analytics in March.

ELG project workshop at the B2B Software Days

The H2020 European Language Grid (ELG) Project will conduct a workshop at the 6th International B2B Software Days on the 11th of May.

The event will have a fully virtual format and over 2.000 attendees are expected between the 10th and 12th of May. International keynote speakers, CoCreation Labs, networking opportunities and several workshops on topics that are current trends or of interest to the international software business community are part of the program.

The ELG session will combine a presentation of the ELG, a demo of its Language Technology platform, outstanding Austrian industry experts and other research presentations.

Participation is free of charge and the language of the event will be English. Registrations are available at until the 5th of May.

The ELG project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement № 825627.

MIRROR project: latest news

The H2020 MIRROR project released its second newsletter providing an overview on the latest project developments.

Recently the first version of the MIRROR platform’s capabilities were demonstrated to high-level representatives from the fields of national and European policy-making, border security, civil society and to humanitarian aid organizations.

The research project MIRROR will provide answers to the questions of how people abroad perceive Europe as a potential destination for migration.

In the MIRROR project, HENSOLDT Analytics leads the work packages on Text Analysis Methods for Social and Traditional Media and on Dissemination and Exploitation. Furthermore, the company contributes to the work on Multimedia Analysis Methods for Social & Traditional Media, Methods for Cross-Media Network Analysis, the MIRROR Architecture & Information Model and the Community Liaison Manager of the project.

ROXANNE project: 2nd Stakeholder Board Meeting

The 2nd ROXANNE Stakeholder Board Meeting took place on the 19th of March as virtual.

The occasion provided a unique opportunity to showcase the project’s progress and to directly engage with and receive feedback from diverse stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies, technology experts, policymakers, European institutions, and NGOs.

During the event, the newest results regarding technology development (e.g., visualization technologies, speaker identification, network analysis based on CSI data, etc.) were highlighted. The current challenges and approaches with regards to legal requirements and ethical frameworks for ROXANNE were also discussed. An interactive Q & A session and sharing of thoughts and ideas by the participants closed the meeting.

The H2020 ROXANNE project is a research project funded by the European Union that intends to combine new speech, text, video, and network analysis technologies into a new platform that will assist law enforcement agencies to identify criminals in organised crime investigations.
