HENSOLDT Analytics team in Munich has recently welcomed a new team member! Maximilian Henne joined our Munich division at the beginning of October to work as a AI Engineer – Computer Vision.
Max initially became interested in mechanical engineering, which he studied in Salzburg and Munich, the latter also being his hometown. After successfully completing his undergraduate degree in 2017, he pivoted towards artificial intelligence and graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. During his postgraduate studies, he focused on general Machine Learning and Computer Vision in particular.
Shortly after graduating, Max began his first job experience with Fraunhofer IKS, where he stayed for almost three years. Working as a Research Engineer, he dedicated his time to the topics of uncertainty estimation in deep neural networks for autonomous driving systems.
At HENSOLDT Analytics, he will be working on several Computer Vision applications utilizing Machine Learning methods, as well as work alongside our colleagues in Munich on the development of algorithms for air surveillance and monitoring.
We are happy to have you, Max!
