Gerhard Backfried, Chief Scientific Officer at HENSOLDT Analytics, will attend the Austrian European Language Resource Coordination (ELRC) workshop taking place on November 10th, 2021, at the National Defence Academy in Vienna. He will take part in the panel discussion Language Technology in and for Austria from the industry perspective and give a live demo of our Media Mining System in the afternoon.
The workshop will address questions about the existing solutions for language in digital interactions, their readiness for use and if our language is itself ready to keep pace with the technological advancements of the AI era. The workshop seeks to engage participants from both public services and industry in a fruitful discussion on the status and prospects of Language Technology in and for Austria.
Developers, integrators and users of Language Technology, both from the private and public sector will share experiences, requirements and ways for transforming digital interaction in our multilingual Europe with Language Technologies, as well as how language data can fuel development in Artificial Intelligence.
