We are pleased to announce that the HENSOLDT Analytics in-house IT team based in Vienna has recently welcomed Jakob Frohnwieser as their new team lead.

Jakob, who started working with us in April, has more than ten years of experience under his belt. He completed both of his degrees, a B.Sc in Software & Information Engineering and a Master’s in Media Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), after which he began working in software engineering and web development. He honed his expertise at Bundesrechenzentrum, Paradine, and Specific Group Austria, to name a few, acting as a senior developer and leading international teams in successfully completing software projects.

Jakob is passionate about his chosen profession and enjoys getting involved in all stages of an app lifecycle – from ideation, planning, feedback, to implementation, management, and optimisation. He values a workstyle that allows for free exchange of ideas and requirements, to deliver well-designed and robust products that reflect customer and user expectations. He considers himself an all-round software developer.

In his last position before joining the team in Vienna, Jakob worked as the Head of Engineering at Klaiton Advisory, managing a team of developers and leading the charge in introducing new technologies and processes to transform and future-proof the core product.

Welcome to the team, Jakob!
