Next Webinar: OSINT and Peacekeeping in Africa
Our next webinar – OSINT and Peacekeeping in Africa – will take place on the 30th of September.
During the event, HENSOLDT Analytics OSINT Analyst, Anne-Lynn Dudenhöfer, and Chief Visionary Officer, Mark Pfeiffer, will provide insights on OSINT Intelligence as a situational awareness tool in complex peacekeeping operations in the African continent. Both presenters will also take part in a live Q&A session answering queries from the attendees.

ISS World Middle East and Africa 2021
Together with colleagues from HENSOLDT Cyber, we are pleased to have attended the ISS World Middle East & Africa, 28th – 30th of June, in the city of Dubai.
The event is the world’s largest gathering of Regional Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Homeland Security Analysts, Telecoms as well as Financial Crime Investigators responsible for Cyber Crime Investigation, Electronic Surveillance and Intelligence Gathering.
The visitors at our booth were able to access the full version of the HENSOLDT Analytics Media Mining Client and explore the powerful capabilities of our OSINT solution in real-time. We thank all those who visited us and we look forward to more events in 2021.
Webinar on OSINT and Imagery Intelligence Analysis in Countering Terrorism and Insurgency
We are delighted to have hosted our second webinar of the year 2021 earlier this month with the topic OSINT and Imagery Intelligence Analysis in Countering Terrorism and Insurgency: An African Perspective. The virtual event happened on the 16th of June and attracted 113 attendees from international organisations in the areas of defence, security, military, and intelligence.
HENSOLDT Analytics OSINT Analyst, Anne-Lynn Dudenhöfer, presented the OSINT perspective on the Northern Mozambique insurgency. Our external guest, Dimitris Bliziotis, Technical Manager of the Earth Observation and GIS Function of Planetek Hellas, spoke about the Earth Observation & GIS Services for the Security, Defence & Law Enforcement Sector.
The activity, which results were presented at the webinar, received funding by the European Space Agency – ESA within the framework of the EO Science for Society (EOEP5 Block 4) – Expanding Demand for EO Derived Information EOLAW Project.

H2020 MIRROR Project: website restructure
The MIRROR project website has been updated! The project’s homepage was restructured to make it even easier to explore information about the progress of the H2020 project, and to better follow MIRROR’s latest news and events.
In the MIRROR project, HENSOLDT Analytics leads the work packages on Text Analysis Methods for Social and Traditional Media and on Dissemination and Exploitation. Furthermore, the company contributes to the work on Multimedia Analysis Methods for Social & Traditional Media, Methods for Cross-Media Network Analysis, the MIRROR Architecture & Information Model and the Community Liaison Manager of the project.
