HENSOLDT Analytics team members are co-authors of the paper “Exploring links between EO Satellites, Social Media and Crowdsourcing Information against Terrorism and Organized Crime”.
The paper will be submitted to the Big Data from Space 2021 conference, which will take place as a virtual event from the 18th to the 20th of May.
The work is a result of the collaboration between HENSOLDT Analytics, GMV and the Greek company Planetek, within the EOLAW project (funded by the European Space Agency ESA), and it deals with the fusion of EO (Earth Observation) data and Open Source Intelligence to fight organized crime and terrorism.
Moreover, the inclusion of EO data to the portfolio of inputs processed by the HENSOLDT Analytics Media Mining System will further increase the scope and power of analyses that can be carried out.
The latest news about this and other Research Papers to which HENSOLDT Analytics collaborates can be accessed at our website Research & Papers session.
